I THE UNDERSIGNED, REQUEST THE PRIVATE DRIVEWAY SNOW PLOWING SERVICE OFFERED BY THE TOWN OF EILEEN. I CERTIFY THAT MY DRIVEWAY DOES CONFORM TO THE STANDARDS OF THE EILEEN SNOWPLOW POLICY AND THAT THE TOWN OF EILEEN, ITS OFFICIALS AND/OR TOWN EMPLOYEES, WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE WHEN THE TOWN OF EILEEN IS ENGAGED IN SNOW PLOWING.
Base Season Rates:
→ Primary Town Residence driveway ¼ mile or less ……………………..$200.00
→ Driveways more than ¼ mile in length ………………………………………..$250.00
→ Added Late Fee after November 15th, 2024 …………………………………$100.00

You may also attend a board meeting. Town Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM (unless posted different) at the Bayfield County Eileen Conference Hall. Please do not call the town garage with concerns.
Resident snowplowing will conclude on March 20, 2025. If you wish to have your driveway plowed after this date, please contact a supervisor.
This form must be filed with the town treasurer by Friday, November 15th, 2024. After this date, applicants must pay a $100.00 non-refundable late fee. If late, plowing will begin within seven days after the treasurer receives plowing application, base season payment and late fee.

Snow Plowing Policy
2024-2025
Notice to any Eileen residents or Eileen property owners wishing to have snow plowing service.
- The Town of Eileen will be plowing PRIVATE DRIVEWAYS ONLY, provided the following conditions are met and the enclosed REQUEST FORM is signed and placed on file with the Town Treasurer. NO plowing will be done until these conditions are met.
- Driveways will be plowed only after all school bus and mail routes have been plowed. ALL DRIVEWAYS MUST HAVE ADEQUATE CLEARANCE, BE FREE OF STUMPS, ROCKS, BOATS, CARS, SNOWMOBILES AND OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS AND BE CLEARLY MARKED. ADEQUATE TURN AROUND SPACE MUST BE PROVIDED. Town crew will notify owners if driveways do not meet conditions and can’t be plowed.
- The only emergency requests for snow plowing will be for ambulance and fire department vehicles.
- Due to the large number of driveways that are plowed by the Town of Eileen and the fact that the town roads must be plowed and sanded before driveways are started, you may feel you cannot wait for the Town Crew, you therefore, may want to contract with a private snowplowing contractor.
- The Town Board of Supervisors reserves the right to withhold services at any time if any or all conditions are not met or the Town Officials, or employees receive any harassing or abusive treatment.
- The Town of Eileen, its officials and employees will not be held responsible for damages to any property encountered in the area to be plowed.
It is illegal to push or blow snow onto town roads or highways.
Violators will be reported to the local law enforcement.
