If you are interested in serving on the town board you must be nominated at the town caucus held in January. Each nomination must receive a second. The electors then vote on the nominees. The nominated candidates are then notified by the town clerk and the candidate must complete a Declaration of Candidacy form and a Campaign Registration form within 5 days of notification. The candidate's name is then placed on the ballot.
