Meeting called to order by Marty Milanowski, Chairperson. Pledge of Allegiance.

Review of minutes from the July 11, 2023, regular meeting.

A motion to accept the July 11, 2023, minutes was made by Skip Radosevich. Kathy Johanik seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Treasurer report – Carol Pufall, Town Treasurer, gave an overview of the town’s finances. Checking account balance is $119, 462. 07. Money market account is $25,656.69. Covid recovery fund is now closed.

Supervisor report – Skip Radosevich had nothing to note.

Kathy Johanik noted the Kelly truck went to Kovals with a transmission leak. Other equipment is running well. A culvert has been put in on Yachinich Road. Work on the town roads with placement of gravel is near completion. About 8 loads will be coming for the stockpile. Will start to mow with last cutting of roads.

Clerk report – Shannon Schneeberger noted a public meeting notice has been posted on the town website, on the door of the meeting hall, as well as will be posted on all township boards regarding the Bayfield County Unit of the Wisconsin Towns Association on August 16, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Town of Eileen Conference Hall. Also noted Open Book meeting has been scheduled for September 19th from 3-6 p.m. with the tax assessor, and Board of Review has been scheduled for September 26, 2023, from 6 -8 p.m.

Public Input: Discussion regarding Bayfield County roads being open for ATV routes, when Highway 137 will be resurfaced, when Fleet Farm is going to start building, and when the tax assessor will be coming.
