Meeting called to order by Marty Milanowski, Chairperson. Pledge of Allegiance.

Review of meeting minutes from July 14, 2026. Motion to accept the July 14, 2026, meeting minutes was made by Kathy Johanik. Skip Radosevich seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Treasurer report – Carol Pufall, Treasurer, gave an update on the town’s finances. True checking account balance is $89,810.71. Money Market $26,974.60. By the 15th of August we have the 2nd half of the taxes coming and shared revenue coming.
Supervisor report – Skip Radosevich – had to change LED lightbulb on west side of garage that was out. Garage door is now fixed.
Kathy Johanik reported – Mower tractor fixed. That was down for 2 weeks. Was out today, pulled pump out and put new in. Randy was out grading today. Kelly truck won’t start now, starter not sure why not getting energy, will not stay running. Will work on this in spare time. New culvert put in on Curry Road.
Clerk report – Election August 11th. Election equipment will be tested this Friday, August 7th at 8:30 a.m. November 3rd is the next election. Ordered the “I Voted” stickers and should be here by Friday.
Old Business: Update on Fire/EMS Contract by Marty Milanowski, chairman. After the last meeting we narrowed down to 2 proposals. Ashland would have one station in the middle of the county, Essentia Health was best proposal for ambulance. Decided to not take either proposal. Iron River didn’t want to take on any more expenses. Talked to Barksdale, they said they were happy with what they had. Everyone wanted more support is what we heard. If we upped the money from the county, it would take away from what we have to pay per township and bring down the contract price for us. Nothing is signed yet, we are going to see how much we will get from the county. Will keep us updated.
New Business: Conditional use application for placement of a modular home on a property with a poured concrete basement submitted by Scott Hoffman. This is on Gilles Road in the Town of Eileen. Motion to approve the conditional use application made by Skip Radosevich, seconded by Kathy Johanik. Motion carried.
Public Input: Terry Torkko asked if we still have the County Line Road money coming in for sharing road with Town of Gingles for GTA. Carol Pufall stated she believed so but would look into it.
Motion to approve checks and pay bills – Motion to pay bills was made by Kathy Johanik, seconded by Skip Radosevich. Motion carried.
