A motion to accept the January 9, 2023, minutes was made by Kathy Johanik, Skip Radosevich seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Treasurer report – Carol Pufall, Town Treasurer, gave an overview of the town’s finances.

Supervisor report – Skip Radosevich reported that water is still getting into the holding tank at the garage.

Kathy Johanik reported they have been busy changing oil, washing windows, and washing equipment. Randy, George, and Marty are putting in a new steering gear into the truck, so a lot of hard work has been going into that. Randy took the truck out and was sanding roads.

Clerk report – Discussed special assessment letters received from title companies in town and if we wanted to sign off on no special assessments for the rest of 2024 or not. Reminder the Board of Review training is required of at least 1 board member per year. Marty, Skip, and Kathy confirmed they will be attending the training, and I will look into it if I am available. I will not be able to attend the next meeting scheduled in March, but did discuss this with Donna Anderson, my deputy clerk, and she is willing to attend in my absence.

Old business – The town board decided to go with 4-Season Air for the new furnaces needed for the conference hall. Motion to accept the bid from 4-Season Air made by Skip Radosevich and seconded by Kathy Johanik. Motion accepted.

New business – Colby Road bridge inspection showed movement so will need to eventually be replaced. Right now it does not qualify for full funding as it is considered a “62” and needs to be at a “50” in order to be replaced. Will be looking at any funding available if we need to replace it but for now will try to repair it as best as possible.

Public Input:  Ashland Fire Chief Stuart Matthias was present and gave an overview and update on services for the Town of Eileen.

Approve checks and pay bills – motion made by Skip Radosevich, seconded by Kathy Johanik. Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn – motion made by Skip Radosevich, seconded by Kathy Johanik. Motion carried.
