Treasurer report – Carol Pufall, Town Treasurer, gave an overview of the town’s finances.
Supervisor report – Skip Radosevich stated there have been no problems with the water so far at the garage. The cylinder on the Kelly truck has been spraying oil and will need to get looked at. Troy Weber was in attendance and addressed the board regarding the furnace estimate he had provided. He is not able to come down in his quoted price and stated the reasoning behind it including added parts/features that the other estimate did not account for. He would like to be seriously considered in any future decisions in purchasing new furnaces for the township conference hall as he is familiar with our building and has done previous maintenance for us over the years.
Kathy Johanik wanted to give a shout out to Shannon Schneeberger, Clerk, for all her work in getting the new township website up and running. A load of salt/sand was delivered and mixed in with the old. The guys have been busy straightening things up in the shop. Reminder there will be no February primary this year.
Clerk report – The new township website is now live as of last Friday. I have been working closely with the new website designer to get this up and running in time for the meeting and have everything up to date.
Old business – None.
New business – Resident, Andy Mika, addressed the board regarding possible blacktopping of County Line Road in the future. He stated the reasoning behind the request, and mentioned the LRIP grant for funding. Marty Milanowski stated the LRIP grant will net be available for our township for quite a while now as we are at the bottom of the list for funding. State funding would be an option but for now the township will try to keep on top of the grading and maintenance of the road.
Public Input: None.
Approve checks and pay bills – motion made by Kathy Johanik, seconded by Skip Radosevich. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn – motion made by Kathy Johanik, seconded by Skip Radosevich. Motion carried.
