Budget Meeting Followed by the Regular Town board Meeting 6:00 pm

Bayfield County Eileen Conference Hall

• Review and discuss proposed budget for 2024

Attendees: 2

 

The board received a proposed income and expenses sheet for the 2024 year end.  These were prepared by the clerk.

 

The board reviewed the income and expenses according to the year to date figures and the expected 2025 expenses.  The board approved expenditure for the highway expenses.  All figures were recorded and when year- end figures are finalized the new budget will be recorded into bookkeeping system.

 

The town electors meeting was called to order:

 

A motion was made by Mark Schneeberger to increase the board’s salary by $35/person monthly, to start after the April 2025 election. A second was made by Derek Marincel. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Mark Schneeberger to adopt the 2024 budget, a second by Derek Marincel.  Motion carried.

 

A motion to keep the tax levy as is except for new construction by 1^st Mark Schneeberger and 2^nd by Derek Marincel. Motion carried.

 

A motion to adjourn the Budget meeting by Skip Radosevich and a second by Kathy Johanik.
