Review of minutes from Tuesday, October 14, 2025, regular meeting.

A motion to accept October 14, 2025, meeting minutes was made by Kathy Johanik, Skip Radosevich seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Treasurer report – Carol Pufall, Town Treasurer, gave an overview of the town’s finances. Checking account is $106,011.06. Money market account is $26, 778.77. The snowplow money accidentally got put into the Money Market account so that was moved and taken care of, will show up on the next statement. Also the clerk software was taken out twice instead of once so will be getting this taken care of on the next business day as today the bank was closed.

Supervisor report – Skip Radosevich reported the burning barrel has now been fixed at the garage and he burned garbage. Randy needed a new battery or motor for the grease gun so Skip gave him permission to purchase a new Dewalt brand gun as we already have plenty of batteries that will work with it.

Kathy Johanik reported equipment is all ready for winter. Blade wing and sander on Kelly truck. Greasing Kelly truck up today. Wing part has to go on the grader yet for moving the blade. One ton and pay loader are ready. Got salt and sand today. George really cleaned up the shop.

Clerk report – Reminder that Amanda Tutor from the School District of Ashland has now been scheduled to speak at our December meeting regarding tax implications that have been voted on for the upcoming tax season and giving an update on funds being used from the operational referendum that was passed in April 2025. Also the office computer is out of date and not able to convert to the new Windows 11 system, so we will need to purchase a new computer and a printer, possibly and/or laptop so I can bring home to use. Our printer is very old and the toner cartridge is not recyclable anymore and expensive. Will be contacting RadioShack in town to see if we can purchase through them and get it set up. Spoke to Travis with Black Bear Properties and he is possibly looking into expanding the hotel and weighing different options for the old El Charro building which is now closed. I had him fill out paperwork to the get the liquor license transferred back over into his name for now.

Old business – None.

New business – None.

Public Input: Greg Hebert said he talked to Scott at Northwoods Paving regarding Sajdak Road surface damage and he said they will be leaving it as is.

Approve checks and pay bills – motion made by Skip Radosevich, seconded by Kathy Johanik. Motion carried.

Motion to adjourn – motion made by Kathy Johanik, seconded by Skip Radosevich. Motion carried.
